The Art Deco District

The Art Deco District is a National Historic Landmark District in Miami, Florida, United States. It is roughly bounded by the Atlantic Ocean on the east, Northeast 12th Street on the west, North Bayshore Drive on the north and South Bayshore Drive on the south. It contains several hundred buildings constructed from 1923 through 1957 that reflect this distinctive style of architecture and design known as Art Deco or Streamline Moderne which flourished during those years.

Wynwood

Wynwood is a neighbourhood in Miami, Florida. It's known for its colourful murals and street art that cover the walls of many buildings and businesses.

The Wynwood Walls are a collection of murals by some of the world's most famous street artists, including Shepard Fairey (the man behind Barack Obama's "Hope" poster), Os Gemeos (Brazilian twin brothers who specialize in large-scale graffiti) and Ron English (whose work has been featured on album covers). The walls were created as part of an initiative by New York City real estate developer Tony Goldman to create an arts district in Miami that would compete with New York City's SoHo neighborhood. The project was launched in 2009 with funding from Goldman himself; he later partnered with several local business owners including Jonathan Levine who owns restaurants Cup & Bar and Broken Shaker along with David Adler who owns nightclubs Cameo at VooDoo Lounge which hosts live music shows every night except Monday when it becomes an intimate lounge club experience instead!

South Beach

South Beach is the most famous beach in Miami. It's a great place to swim, sunbathing and surfing. The restaurants are good for eating out and there are many clubs where you can dance all night long. If you want somewhere quiet to drink wine or have a cocktail, then you should go to one of the bars on Ocean Drive

Coral Gables

Coral Gables is a great place to visit. It has beautiful architecture and is home to one of the best nightlife scenes in Miami. This city offers plenty of things to do, including shopping, dining and entertainment. If you're looking for something fun and different from your typical tourist attractions, check out some of these lesser-known spots:

  • The Coral Gables Museum

  • Books & Books bookstore (a local favorite!)

  • Corazon de Cuba Restaurant & Bar

Miami Beach

Miami Beach is located on the southern tip of Miami, just across from South Beach. The beach itself is wide and long with plenty of room for everyone to enjoy themselves. There are many things to do in Miami Beach, but if you're looking for something fun that doesn't involve the sun and sand then check out their food scene!

  • How To Get There:

The easiest way to get there is by car or taxi; however, there are also buses that go directly there from downtown Miami (though they only run once every half hour). If you're taking public transportation then take either bus 41 or 42 from Biscayne Boulevard at NE 20th Street all the way down Collins Avenue until you get close enough to walk around on foot; this should take approximately 30 minutes depending on traffic conditions at any given time during rush hour (which usually lasts from 7-9am Monday through Friday).

Key Biscayne

Key Biscayne is a barrier island off the coast of Miami, connected to mainland Miami by causeway. It's home to some of the most beautiful beaches in Florida, as well as a lighthouse and golf course (the latter two being favorites among locals).

The island is also home to the Miami Seaquarium, which has been entertaining visitors since 1968 with its educational shows and animal exhibits; it's especially popular with children who want to see dolphins up close! Key Biscayne offers some excellent fishing opportunities too: anglers can cast their lines out into waters teeming with grouper or snapper right from shore--or if they're feeling adventurous enough for an overnight stay on land or sea then kayaking may be just what you need!
